Last week I skipped the Diva’s weekly challenge because she asked us to create a Zentangle® tile while in something moving. As interesting as that might have been, I didn’t have any long trips where I was taken places and even if I did, it may have given me motion sickness to tangle in a car! This week’s Diva Challenge #277 was much more in my comfort zone. She asked us to tangle in a string made of circles. I love tangling circles, but I didn’t expect where this challenge would take me.
My string consisted of five disconnected circles which I filled with Whirling Rixty in the middle and then Cyme in the corner. I love Cyme but it’s always a challenge to set up the center flower shape. Then I faced the challenge of how to connect these circles or fill the empty spaces which is what I chose to do with Tipple. So much fun! A little bit of shading completed the tile. If I were to do it over, I’d probably skip filling in the larger circles, but no mistakes in Zentangle, right?
