The first week of each month the Diva challenges us to use a tangle created by another CZT. This week’s Diva Challenge #278, is to use Knightstar, created by CZT Daniel Lamothe, CZT. I believe he’s one of the youngest CZT’s out there, still attending high school. Impressive, yes?
Knightstar is one of those amazing tangles where a larger pattern is created by carefully following the step outs. I love the result, although it required some practice and a lot of focus to get it right. While it created star shaped patterns in the center of the lines, once I filled the petals with Printemps, the overall effect reminded me of butterflies, which is why I decided to put the organic tangles Pokeroot and Pokeleaf in the corners and sprinkle a few Fescu around the sides.
